It is the expected outcome from the UniParty system. You vote out one branch but you end up with the other one.
The only real alternative was Nigel Farage's Reform UK party but that is far from established. For instance, one of their new MPs was his own agent and his entire team seems to have been his mum and dad! Now compare that to the $billions spent in the US.
I think one of the reasons for Sunak to call a snap election was to prevent Reform UK getting up to speed. He just wanted to hand over control to the other half of the UniParty. So, we ended up with a WEF attendee as Prime Minister. He took another of his new ministers with him to Davos and another minister is a Bilderberger. He once called Donald Trump: "a woman-hating, neo-Nazi sociopath” so I think that sets the tone!
Mahyar Tousi runs through the new government. The first ten minutes tells you most of the important stuff.
The Farage party at least showed it can get more votes than the so called conservatives. Come next election, more people will vote that way. Look at Canada now. Not enough people will vote for the PPC, the only real Conservative Party, because people are too scared of splitting the vote and Trudeau winning again. They will vote for a fake conservative, simply because he has the best chance of winning, NOT because he aligns with their beliefs. If the PPC just worked over the Conservatives in the election, but lost to Trudeau's Liberals, you can bet the next election people would vote PPC over the CPC, because they showed they can win seats.
This is how I see Farage and what he has going on. They needed their foot in the door, and now they have it.
Elected or installed?
