Decades ago I did the Atkins Diet 3 separate times for about 3 months each time. I lost a lot of weight... The first cookie screws you because of the sugar/carb addiction.
In 2017 I cycled 3K miles in 2 months (50 Miles a day average) lost some weight, but not as much as you would think because that much exercise makes you hungry as heck.
My most successful weight loss was in 2011 when I cycled 13 miles each way to work AND ate less meat, bread, and junk.
It takes diet and exercise.
It's a lifetime battle... I'm not as heavy as I was, but not nearly where I need to be.
