I know you’re much closer to the situation, but after an hour of being demoralized by the results I slowly came to a similar conclusion. And, that this is the French version of “it had to be this way.”
As you say, on the left it is a coalition that will be impossible to hold together. And, as for the “centrist voters” they too will be shocked at the consequences of their vote and their continued reliance on the MSM to make their voting decisions.
I think it’s entirely possible Macron tries to chip away at Melanchon’s coalition and cobble together a weak coalition where he maintains control. Then he will try to force more unpopular policies through with Article 49.3, hoping that the Left and Right will never vote together on a no confidence motion that dissolves the Government.
Yes, the dreaded 49/3. I believe he is about to install Elisabeth Borne once again as she doesn’t care about her popularity so, no Assemblée Nationale voting nor debating will need to be actually done.
I’m relatively new in my understanding of how the French Government operates. I was shocked to learn Charles de Gaulle had a central role in enacting 49/3 and abolishing proportional representation for electing the President.
I continue to pray for France. I don’t understand exactly what role France is playing in the Great Awakening, but post 2596 makes me believe the eventual exposure and unseating of Macron is part of the puzzle.

May- Gone Merkle- Gone Macron- Next 'Tis the Season of Treason! 2/3 of the European cartel have been removed. Macron is now up.
I concur that this is France's "Had to be this way" for the legal citizens to fully wake up. I have to admit that I wasn't pleased when I read about the fuckery that transpired through their voting rules, but this should be the deal breaker and France will have another Revolution.....
