They have claimed all-along that DEI makes organizations stronger, wouldn't they need those "better" DEI employees now more than ever?

I've been noticing this even at my own employer, when the layoffs occurred the among the first ones chopped were "diversity hires" who thought they were safe while productive people were mostly spared. They even kicked out the one woman in my department which was surprising, I figured they have to keep her for quota reasons.
