This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.

This morning when I prayed Jesus told me the next 40 days I must fast and pray and it's very important but I don't know why. Then this happened w/ Trump getting hurt in his ear just now. So I feel compelled to share it here. I was wondering if GAW wants to do a community fast and pray for 40 days with me? Your fasting schedule will be your own according to your life. Just a suggestion.
A pinned page for the 40 days Fast and Pray would be nice too. This is as much a spiritual warfare and not just politics. I do notice my prayers are more effective when I'm fasting so maybe that's why it's important for this month?

Woah. That very same thought to fast for 40 days came into my head very early in the morning (12:15am) before I went to bed! I've already been fasting from carbs since July 1st and reading from the bible as often as I can and I'm definitely going to keep it up for another 40 days.
That's weird we both got the same message.
Yep, same, no carbs, alcohol, intermittent fast 40 days, feel the hunger a little, read Bible, praise and worship, etc. Maybe we're supposed to invite more patriots to join this fast.
