Can you guys see that gray streak in the first picture? Some people are saying that gray streak is the actual bullet as it's traveling towardsTrump before striking his right ear. If that's the case, the bullet was traveling from behind Trump.
We would need confirmation from President Trump if he turned in the direction he thought and felt the shot came from. From there on the ground we could determine the real direction and if it lines up with the claims.
If he was looking in the direction of where people are saying the shooter was on the rooftop, then that means the bullet was coming from the front of where Trump was facing.
This is why we need more answers. Check out this picture. He is facing to the right and his head position angle. shooter was to his right but angled slighty to the left, meaning if suspicions are correct the ear would not have been visible to the shooter from the shooters angle.

Yep. According to the people in the field watching the shooter he fired 5 times before being canceled by return fire.
