Did Manchin know what was going to happen to Trump this weekend and wanted to see if it changes Bidet's position on whether he continues in the election or not?

Maybe a stretch, but thought it was interesting that he wanted to "wait until this weekend to have a better, clearer view of what's happening".

I hope Biden manages to stay in the race, he and his policies need to face the Court of Public Opinion in the next election. I'm sure they will be brutally repudiated. And the Demwit Party sincerely needs that karma to hit their party, and suffer the consequences for decades to come.
