Sorry, for the little typo, it must be: FOLLOW THE WIVES
US Senator JD Vance, who Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump chose as his running mate, has credited his Hindu wife Usha Chilukuri Vance for shaping his personal and spiritual life. In an interview with Fox News, he explained how his Indian-origin wife's Hindu faith had been instrumental in helping him navigate challenges and reconcile his Catholic beliefs. He revealed he "was raised Christian but never baptised."
"I was first baptised in 2018. Usha was actually raised non-Christian. But I remember when I started to re-engage with my faith, Usha was very supportive," said the 38-year-old. The couple met at Yale Law School and married in Kentucky in 2014.
They had two ceremonies - a traditional wedding ceremony and a separate Hindu ceremony conducted by a Hindu priest, honouring Usha's Hindu heritage. They have three children - Ewan, 6, Vivek, 4, and Mirabel, 2.

While at Yale Law School, Chilukuri met her future husband, J. D. Vance, a relationship encouraged by their professor Amy Chua.[14] In 2013, Chilukuri and Vance collaborated to organize a discussion group at Yale focused on the topic of "social decline in white America."[15]

Encouraged the relationship of JD Vance with Usha and mentored JD Vance to write his Hillbillie memoirs. Amy has Chinese background.

They do not "worship" Mary. Catholics were the first Christians, and they are the only Church that can trace their roots all the way back to the Lord, Himself. I'm not interested in getting into a bunch of doctrinal arguments on here. The two sides have been arguing without settling anything for centuries, and we aren't going to get anything settled here. All I will say is that to claim that Catholics are not Christian is completely ridiculous.
Thank you.
I was raised catholic, went to catholic grade school so have some background. I remember as much focus on Jesus as Mary. No focus on the Bible, they used their own books to teach from. A catholic can be a Christian but isn’t one automatically. At least in my experience. I became a Christian later in life and was baptized a second time then.
Catholics are the first Christians, founded the Church of Christianity, and have ties directly back to Jesus through the first Pope, Apostle Peter. Catholicism goes back further than it becoming the faith of the Roman Empire. We do not worship Mary, we give her honor and veneration as Jesus' mother, but we can never love her more than Jesus loves her. We honor her like you would honor and respect the mother of an earthly king, and Jesus is the King of the Universe, so that makes Mary even more special.
You are correct.
