Ok, I'm in the plastics industry. To say "you could be nowhere better" is total BS. There are soooo many plastics manufacturers. I know a lot of companies in the industry, and I had never heard of JSP. And yeah, plastics use petroleum. Nothing new or suspicious about that.
In the town where I grew up, Eastman Chemical (a major producer of plastics) is near Holsten Glass, which is near the Holsten Army Ammunition Plant. So if someone from Eastman was shot, should we automatically assume that it was some huge conspiracy having to do with the military? Sorry, no.
I think he's trying to find connections when there are none to be had, and if there are connections, they are simply run-of-the-mill business connections. A plastics company near a glass company is really not unusual. I can think of several examples off the top of my head. Industries do tend to congregate in certain areas.
Sorry for the rant. He just sounds like someone who knows nothing about the subject and is just trying to get attention.

Thanks for the info.
Some more info...the area has a lot of industries.

Thanks. That was interesting. Confirms Corie worked in the plastics industry.
Yes. Probably a good portion of the town does. Butler's population is only 13,000. Between JSP and AGR, probably a fair portion work in the industry.
