Yeah, I wouldn't call myself an active "anime fan" but there's certain ones that caught my attention and never let go lol

Ghibli movies are not like other "animes". In fact I cringe when someone calls it anime. People who find Animes loud and fast and jarring can still enjoy Ghibli movies.
