The Vietnam man who immigrated to the US as a child and is running for US Senate - gave such a powerful speech at the RNC convention tonight. He was 25 years in the navy. So many former military men are running for Republican seats - it surely is their time.

I was deeply impressed by his speech. I'm actually listening to the Convention now, and I don't believe I've tuned in since possibly Reagan's 2nd Term. (and yes, I know that dates me.)
