Janeen DiGuiseppi named first woman to lead Albany FBI field office
ALBANY (WRGB) --- History is being made at the FBI’s Albany Office, for the first time, a woman is now leading the charge.
Janeen DiGuiseppi will be the newest Special Agent in Charge of the city’s field office.

In the past, she’s tackled issues related to drugs, organized crime, and more, and even worked for the FBI in Afghanistan.
DiGuiseppi has also worked the for the FBI Headquarters in DC. She’s the first woman to lead the Albany field office in its nearly 100-year history.
