Ohio police assigned to Republican convention in Milwaukee fatally shoot man

The shooting took place about a mile from the Republican National Convention, which former President Donald Trump attended Monday. Police said it appears unrelated.

Why would police in Columbus OH be protecting the RNC convention in Milwaukee WI?

Same reason trucks from other states head to where the major power outages happen from storms.. resource sharing.
