Staged/planned? No way. Allowed to let happen? Possibly, but even then, waaaaay too risky, especially with nitwits like Crooks or Yearick pulling triggers. Way to risky knowing that if PDJT were to be killed, we would be heading to a second hot unCivil War/Revolution.

I think this was a fairly "organic" episode that played out. What all these suppositions amount to is people trying to make sense of it all in an already insane world.
