One of my brother's proposed that this was a "break the glass" emergency to air-gap computers from an out of control AI or a massive foreign hack. They intentionally kicked everything offline for protection."

Or crowdstrike Israeli company relationship is related to burning smoke plumed building near us embassy in Israel. And it is indicative of critical infrastructure damage to crowd strike.
