Also, last night in his speech he described how the doctor said the ear bleeds a lot. None on his hand. None on the white cuff of his sleeve. Even as he drops to the ground after covering his ear, his hand is momentarily visible... no blood.
I am not positing a theory. I am asking about what looks like an inconsistency.
I saw him place his flat hand on his ear after the first bullet stung him. He then looked at his hand which showed a bit of blood on the palm of his hand. He then ducks and dropped down, leaning forward, which allowed the two blood streaks to drip down the side of his face. The lack of constant bleeding can only be explained (to my thoughts) that his fight-or-flight mechanism had kicked in. An adrenaline rush will harden and clamp all the blood veins so that you will not bleed to death in battle.
One personal anecdote from years ago. I had a real needle phobia. When I had to get my finger pricked or blood drawn for a medical exam, I would get so anxious that my fight-or-flight would create an adrenaline rush that would make it so the medical personnel would be unable to get blood out of my fingertips, trying all ten and getting nothing! One time a nurse literally snapped a needle when trying to draw blood from my arm. It disturbed me so much I passed out (lol) and they had to use smelling salts to bring me back.
Since then, I have to use a zen/meditation technique in order to relax enough for them to easily draw blood when needed.
