Probably gathered the shell cases already days before they hosed it down. As that’s fairly obvious evidence to contradict their story

Reportedly there were other markings on the roof. So they may have been getting rid of those.

Any other evidence such as DNA though likely was killed by sitting on a baking aluminum roof in the sun. Roofs get hot as shit. So leaving bloodstains up there wouldn’t have much of a purpose
