Kamala can't be president. She's not eligible. Both of her parents are foreign-born and were not American citizens at the time of her birth. This has been pointed out since she was nominated for vice president.

Doesn't the 14th amendment simply require someone to be born within the United States, regardless of parents' citizenship statuses, to be considered "natural born citizens"? Kamala herself was born in California, so she would be a natural born citizen by the 14th, right? Am i missing something?

A naturalized citizen is not a "natural born" citizen. They are different things. FTrooper2 is correct. The 14th Amendment does not modify the requirement for president.
