Did you happen to watch that movie that came out a few months ago on Netflix where they supposedly consulted with former Pres. Barry O (who allegedly co-produced it) about the political world and the way things are in actuality? It is called, Leave the World Behind?
In the movie shows what happens following some kind of EMP/Cyber attack that renders all of our communications, phones, internet, and tvs permanently disabled ushering in a likely apocalypse. Planes fall from the sky. EV cars drive themselves and crash. Boats can't be steered and crash.
There's a scene where two people suggest that soon, someone will be coming to fix the situation. And they asked, "Who is in charge now?" And the man answers, "No one."
This feels strangely reminiscent. Here's a trailer:
Caveat: Since Obamas had a hand in it, it is no surprise that the white people are made to be racist and hateful toward the very well-groomed, educated and wealthy black family, causing unnecessary strife. Ugh.
Yes, I saw that movie, strange one too. Yes, the Bummers will always say all white people are racist. I don't know how many times I rolled my eyes at how racist they made the woman, but it wasn't only the white woman, the black daughter was a bit racist too, if I remember correctly. In reality, the couple renting the house would have been fine moving to another room if the owners were ok with them staying in their house until things got better for them to go home.
We are a country without a leader.
