I thought the situation in Ireland was more related to Nationalism rather than religion.
Though I think Ireland would also be probably more of an exception to the general rule of thumb on Christians rather than the rule given your comparatively recent history when compared to other parts of Europe
The whole religion question is confined to a small portion of ill educated morons in the North of Ireland.
We are very nationalistic, but that doesn’t depend on your religion. We have had a secular country since 1920’s. Religion has begun to become more important in recent years, due to the slow destruction of our country and culture by the government under the influence of the WEF.
We are beginning to find Christian values of value again. Hard work, faith and family.
