I view this as a soft nudge for people to get off Google and choose something else...many haven't because of convenience and "easy" with Google search as an easy effortless path via embedded search boxes (mobile) and context sensitive options (search selected text with Google) etc.

I guess I should see about hacking everything to replace those Google widgets with something else like brave or yandex...
