I know it's easy to believe things we want to believe at face value, but it is required to present evidence other than a photoshopped Facebook meme. Regarding this, I searched around and could not find any statement from Samsung themselves regarding pulling their advertising or any other corporate participation in the Olympics. In fact, they have a couple Tweets that show otherwise, appearing to demonstrate enthusiasm for the event:
WE SHARED A LINK SAYING SAMSUNG HAD WITHDRAWN
1 BILLION DOLLARS ADVERTISING FOR THE PARIS OLYMPICS
I looked on Samsungs Website and there was No Mention of them Withdrawing 1 Billion Dollars from the Paris Olympics❗️
I’ve now removed that Article, our moderator said she didn’t notice the Word, “Satire” she’s a lovely lady And a New Contributor to Our page while learning the ropes 😉
Just a Heads Up for all who commented, liked & shared the Link .. And probably elated , like I was when they read the Article …
