The federal debt is just bonds and treasury notes.

Have you ever purchased a savings bond?

Congratulations, you "own" some of America's debt.

And only about 60% of our tax money goes to servicing this "debt."

Stop selling bonds and notes and you're out of "debt" in 10 years.
