I know. I've said repeatedly that portrayal is disingenuous but genetically she has a claim. We did the opposite with Pocahontas - she knew a bit about the culture she was claiming but had no genetic heritage so the whole thing seemed disingenuous. But now we sing a different tune?
How do you not understand? Black or not isnt the point. The point is that her father is mixed race Jamaican, here on a student Visa when she was born. Her mother is full Indian, here on an expired student Visa when she was born. As a youngster, she was taken to Montreal to live and learn communism.
She does not share anything with black American culture. She is a complete fraud, pandering for votes. Kumalas life is a lie.
Every bit of that is true. If you read what I've been writing you'd see we agree. My only argument is that she is black enough to meet the 1/8 definition of black. Calling her not black is a stupid hill to die on. Focus on her family's slave owning past, her inauthentic representation of being a young black person in America, her lying about smoking weed to be cool and then becoming a cop with a terrible record, she's so stupid there is no shortage of easily accessible critical material. But screaming "She's not black, she's Irish Indian" is pointless and inaccurate by omission.
