Looks like it's a troll. I am sorry but I only go to naturopathic doctor and do a blood panel to check. I don't even do it yearly. they asked me what I do and I told them, "Vit c, d, zinc, magnesium, biotin." eat good food and exercise.
I'm only on BP med. and hoping to get off that via diet and exercise. There are several veggies that are supposed to help with BP in my wife's country, and I'm endeavoring to consume them more.
I know a friend who has a PHD in Naturopathic meds, and he has a lot of good advice but has some quackery mixed in. For instance, he is a vegetarian and claims because we can move our jaw from side to side we should be vegetarians, I'm sorry, but we have the eyes of a predator, teeth for both flesh and veggies and an omnivore digestive track. Herbivores have a wide field of vision to watch for predators, teeth only for chewing veggies, and a complex digestive tract. Carnivores have a simpler digestive tract, while omnivores are somewhere in the middle
He also advocates walking barefoot in the woods to absorb nutrients through the soles of your feet. I can get behind clean air, clean water, no chemicals, and fresh non-GMO foods though.
Many old remedies work and many do not, and its up to us to manage our own health. My wife will make use smoothies with a lot of the veggies that are good for you, and I can drink them down regardless of taste.
A diet I recommend is actually no diet. Eat as many colors of fruits (Limited) and veggies as you can. Drink water before eating, then eat the veggies until the tase is annoying, then eat meat and grain foods last. I was supprised at how many diabetics there are in Asia, and its the mountains of rice they eat, not junk food.
I eat meat sparingly like maybe once a week and just a tiny bit. Fish, chicken, turkey and no beef. Once a long blue moon, I will eat a tiny bit of beef.
My health doesn't required me to take any prescription medicine. I sometimes catch a cold. That's only if I become too stressed.
For me, 95 vegetarian works for me. As for bp, I created a tincture from my business partner for my family member. He had a little bit of high blood pressure and they want to put him on drugs. I said, hey, take this, and it dropped in 2 weeks. As long as he is able to exercise and maintain his weight, no bp problem.
Yeah, I won't deny that there's a huge meat proportion in most peoples diet, My wife is a rare fat Filipina, she eats a lot of veggies, but too much pork and the less healthy fish.
I grew up a fussy eater and was very stubborn about it. I only eat Tuna, and these days Albacore because it swims deeper. I wouldn't eat fish in the Third world because they dump sewage directly into the water. I eat beef, but have long went with the 6% fat, and Filet Mignon, with pork, my wife picks out lean bits for me when there's a roast pig. Filipinos love the roasted skin that has a lot of gross fat on the inside, YUK I love Turkey Sandwiches, my favorite!
