She demonstrates that she fabricates reality, or some tech expert played a nasty trick on her telling this to her, and she's too much of a fool to discern when she's being played.

Alternatively, she sees her dem audience as a group of brain-dead idiots that know nothing, and will actually believe foolish tales. In this case she is a deceiver of fools.
