Allows? No. Granted through God by birth and protected by a constitution? Yes.
We are the only country on the planet with these presupposed rights endowed by our creator. Every other country’s citizens have their rights endowed by the government. We are the true last bastion of freedom.
Israelis were not permitted until recent attacks. Swiss have always been allowed. Those are the only two countries I know that allowed their citizens to own firearms in the world (so far I know) besides U.S.
The bill of rights is not a list of rights the government grants to the citizens. It is a list of rights the government is prohibited from infringing upon.
Most politicians fail to respect and protect this fact.
America doesn't "allow" gun ownership, or weapons ownership. Americans have an inalienable right to own and carry weapons that comes from our Creator. Government has no authority over this right. The 2nd Amendment prohibits government from infringing in any way on that right.
Is America the only country in the world that allows gun ownership?

No. Israelis and also Switzerland are the ones I know.

I heard the Israelis allow their citizens to own guns but I can substantiate that.
I do believe you’re right. Under certain circumstances they do allow some people to own guns.
Then again though, that is their government allowing it. In the U.S. God allows us.
God grants all humanity everywhere the right to defend themselves. It’s inherent in existing.
Our government is the only one that’s stated that it should respect that right, and has some degree of contractual obligation to do so.
"In the U.S. God allows us."
All the hardcore lefties will disagree with you on that.
