Serious question: what are the differences between being Christian and Catholic? I know there’s probably a better way to word that, but I think you understand what I’m asking. (I know they both credit Jesus as being the Messiah)
I think the pagentry of the catholic service and the statues [some construe as idol worship], prayers to saints and mary. Baptism at birth instead of as an adult.
Priests who take vows of chastity and supposedly can intercede for you in forgiving sins in a confessional. Probably more. Thats the tip of differences.

Catholics basically took all the things in the bible you're not supposed to do, like praying to idols and to the dead, and made a whole religion out of it.

Catholics also believe in some of the more mystical parts of Christianity. Padre Pio, Our Lady of Medjugorje, ghosts etc
