Wait what? When did Iran say that they have nukes? All I heard was that a parliament member saying (awhile ago) that they have the capacity to make nukes quickly if they wanted to...
I read over the weekend that iran announced it had nukes. Not sure if they made them or if Russia gave it to them. Russia did say that they would arm our enemies just as we have armed Ukraine.
Besides, this is the same politician I was referring to: Article is from May 13, 2024.

In the article from May 2024 he said this:
"In my opinion, we have achieved nuclear weapons, but we do not announce it..."
Now all of a sudden the US is going bonkers over this? I smell fear porn. Especially since the markets are down now. The cabal needs their war and an excuse as to why the markets are going down (narrative play).
It’s an interesting point. Do they have nukes or is this just part of a narrative to justify war? I’ve heard in my industry (just rumors) that Iran may have been supplied nukes by a foreign nation that has them…ie NK.
The U S has been saying that for a decade now. There is no real Intel that's being shared that says Iran has nukes. Now, that's not to say they don't have the capability to make a dirty bomb. They do have that capability, but the trigger mechanism to make a nuclear weapon is much different than just wrapping nuclear material around explosives, which is what most people think of when it comes to nuclear weapons. Unless Iran was given that capability it's very hard to figure it out with substandard nuclear and weapons scientists. This is why only a relative few countries actually have nukes. It isn't the overall financial cost of making them, but more a question of scientific and technical know how to make one.
Six to seven nukes was quite a while ago. I would estimate 8-10 nukes by now. I expect the first one or two were gun nukes (two subcritical uranium parts fired together to be supercritical). They may have repurposed them into more advanced nukes.
Add to the bingo card that the US uses one of our new subterranean nukes on the Iranian nuclear facility. Optics to keep Trump’s hands clean.
There is no such thing as a "tactical nuke." Nukes are nukes, and are strategic in nature. Only their deployment is tactical, which is to say that the deployment if any nuke is a tactical decision. It also happens to be the wrong decision. Also, why deploy nukes to that AOR if Iran has none, as is the Western Intel Ageny's collective outlook re Iran?
Edit: if the "Biden Admin" is deploying nukes, then WHs may not be in as much control like we're led to believe, and devolution isn't a thing because there's no way in Hell that Trump would let the "Biden Admin" have any form of control over our strategic nuclear arsenal. Especially now, when it's clear Biden isn't mentally fit to be in control of his own dinner menu, much less anything of real importance in the Fed Govt's arsenal.
What they mean by tactical nuclear weapon is one intended to be used on the battlefield, perhaps in close proximity to friendly forces, as opposed to strategic nuclear weapons which typically get used far from battlefields against industry, population centers, military bases, and possibly hardened defenses.

The only thing I could find close to Iran announcing it has nukes is this tweet: https://x.com/global__eyes/status/1819804411931349183
Hardly a primary source...

All is fair in love and war... I guess.

China rumored to have supplied Iran with nukes months ago:
