Right…banksters and market makers carry your ass to the poorhouse after they drain your wealth and siphon off anything else with real value….like your ‘59 sunburst Les Paul, that Shelby GT350 in your shed, your wife’s pearls…… 😳
Savage! Love it
What’s the big deal about Shelby GT?
Right. Cash and carry...They take your cash and carry off the rest...
Wait until they have to unwind the swaps they made before covid.
What you mean inside deals/shorts? Like certain ones did on 9/10/2001? Or 7/12/2024? 🤔
Good little 10 minute explainer on how "Carry Trades" relate to current happenings, and the global markets- Japan in particular. https://youtu.be/mCp0LJzNN1M
Key Points:
A rapid unloading of “carry trades” extended on Monday, with market participants seeking to roll back on the popular trading strategy amid a dramatic global sell-off in risk assets.
Carry trades refer to operations wherein an investor borrows in a currency with low interest rates and reinvests the proceeds in higher-yielding assets elsewhere.
“You can’t unwind the biggest carry trade the world has ever seen without breaking a few heads. That is the impression markets give us this morning,” Kit Juckes, chief foreign exchange strategist at Societe Generale, said in a research note published Monday.
FYI "Carry Trades" were mentioned here 3 months ago after Japan's first dip: https://greatawakening.win/p/17t1W986CZ/april22024-why-you-should-care-a/c/
