For those who think Elon Musk leaving behind the old X HQ to become a homeless shelter is a nice gesture... it's really a BIG middle finger to San Francisco.
The old Twitter - X headquarters building is in an upscale part of San Francisco, right across from the Court House, with the museum district, opera house, high end dining and shopping and a lot of other corporate office buildings nearby.
Turning it into a HUGE homeless shelter (it will house hundreds, if not thousands of homeless) will guarantee that upscale downtown area of San Francisco will be swarming with vagrants, petty thieves, drug dealers and users and people asking for money. Elon is ensuring that they regret it.
Yep! And I love it. The people who worked there when it was Twitter, had it sooooo fucking easy.
And they censored anything that wasn't liberal-slanting.
Now Musk has it, the libs cry censorship, and the people who had high-paying jobs there (without really doing anything of value), are out of a job. And San Fran pissed off Musk enough for him to fucking leave.
I love it. All of it. Reddit is STILL crying about Musk taking over twitter.
And I got perma-banned because I pointed out that I like Musk, and everytime someone bad-mouthed him, I'd defend him.
Reddit finally realized that I wasn't falling for group-think and banned me site-wide. lmao
And it was totally worth it to see them fucking cry. :)
