Never heard of Lagavulin before - I'll add it to the list. The issue here, with a conglomerate that has acquired many firms, is that the rot at the top - and particularly the Board of Directors - has to be ejected from the firm as their corrupt, evil behavior, through exposure and subsequent boycotts, begins to have a negative impact on the bottom line (namely sales). As the beast system breaks down and this evil, corrupt behavior can no longer be supported by the money-printing beasts propping up the evil system, ousting the DS players becomes easier and the individual firms, if they survive the onslaught, can get on with the business of creating, manufacturing and distributing their products.
I suspect that boycotts of the larger players - Tanqueray, Johnny Walker, Guinness, etc - will have a bigger impact on their bottom line than a niche market like many of the others listed. Conglomerates are tricky as the management of their held companies may be very solid (at least until conglomerate corporate replaces them with woke losers).
I think an important point to make here is that it would do us all well to check into companies we do business with. Recently while traveling I came across a tea brand that I enjoyed and went online looking to source it. I first looked into the firm (as it was new to me) and discovered that they're rabid, woke leftists. So, no, thank you; I will not support any business that - through ignorance or malice - is participating in the destruction of this country. There are other options for most things and simple deprivation is an option should there be no alternative products to choose. I consume loads of bottled water, Dasani being my favorite, but I refuse to purchase it or any other Coca Cola products since their vile CEO, I believe, claimed that people should "Be less white". Not supporting that. Conscience purchasing. We just have to train ourselves to research every company we choose to do business with.
And, sadly, my favorite… Lagvulin.
