My father got pneumonia at the hospital, even when he didn't have any signs of pneumonia at home. He was going to the ER to be treated for UTI as it came back again and his stomach wasn't feeling right.
Then all of a sudden he got pneumonia strangely "overnight" and this was after he received I.V.
I looked it up and yes, you can get all sort of illness, pneumonia being one of them, if you get an I.V.
Why would someone get new ailments when I.V. is supposed to help treat many illnesses?

An iv wouldn’t give you pneumonia. That is an infection of the lungs. You can’t induce pneumonia via iv.
