Sometimes you have to keep the focus on the BIG picture... and not on individual issues at critical moments. No distractions from what is really important right now.
For example, people have said:
"If Jesus opposes the death penalty, then why didn't he speak out against it while nailed to a cross"?
Uhhhh... because there was a BIGGER agenda happening at the time. Petty side issues would only distract from the main message.
