Can someone explain to me why is it so hard to adapt to so called "Western Values"?
Most of them are rooted in natural law and common sense. The 10 commandments is a good start.

Man is inherently sinful and wicked. It is only through Jesus Christ that we can turn away from sin and pursue righteousness. Even still, Christians are unable to avoid sin entirely until they go to heaven.
Western values are Christian values. As the population of real Christians decreases, so do western values.
