I know what you mean! In his book he says that the US was built with God's blessing and protection. And when we turned away from Him, He sent harbingers that started with 9/11. Instead of turning back to Him, we grew defiant. So our protection is now gone. It's an interesting book written as fiction but with Biblical and linguistic references.
