Lemme splain - First, as of late, Trump has been very cognizant of optics surrounding several topics because, as we all know too well, humanity is a fickle bunch and it doesn't take much to shift narratives and frame situations in a negative light. I'll call your attention to the change in attitude regarding Cankles.
Originally, the mantra as we all know was, "Lock her up!" - but just last week I was kinda taken back when Trump said to essentially leave her alone, when the subject of Bill came up, and he said something to the effect of not doing that to someone's husband...(Or something to that effect - having trouble finding the sauce...if you have some please post it)
Another example is [NO NAME] - Probably one of the most traitorous bastards this country has ever known. They permitted his legacy to show he "battled cancer" - before they iced his ass and chucked him in the box, covering it with a wrinkled flag. He SHOULD HAVE BEEN shot in the face, repeatedly... but we don't air our dirty laundry that way.
But regardless of cankles and Mcstain - Optics have been paramount to Trump and will continue to do so. You have to imagine what the sentiment would be from both Americans who live in a bubble, and the world at large, witnessing Trump endorsing these traitors being hung until dead or taking their lumps via firing squad...WE all know that's the LEAST these little fuckers deserve all day long and twice on Sunday - but imagine the absolute SHIT FEST of the entire world screaming, "See?! We told you he was worse than Hitler!!!" And whatever other outrage they come up with...
It would make Trump, Americans and America itself, the proverbial "Shining light in the world - the last "free" place left on earth into a dim, dark, tarnished and battered mess with two black eyes - Optics wise, for 100 years. If you don't believe me, talk to a German friend about WW2 or Nazis or Jews and watch them squirm - even if they and their families had zero to do with any of that... like us with the slavery bullshit, but way, way, way worse...
So yeah... Everyone here would love to see justice play out that way...but in all honesty - it ain't gonna happen. Which is why we continue to look for COMs and feedback using back channels. The choice to know is yours... and it comes at the cost of seeking it out and due diligence.
