As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the day of the Son of Man, eating, drinking and partying down right until the water came and took them all away....who was taken away, not Noah and his family, they prepared and weathered the storm.....so much for the rapture! If waking up to TRUTH is not enough for you, you're looking for an easy way out.....TRUTH sets us free nothing else. Your comment caught my attention, TY ....I am not meaning "you" personally I ment that in general to clearify.
Yep but it won't be a flood this time. God made a promise.
But Jesus gave us a parable that likely gives us the form of judgement/ cleansing that God will use this time around.
The Parable of the Wheat and the Tares, also known as the Parable of the Weeds, appears in the Bible in Matthew 13:24–43.
The parable is about a farmer who sows good seeds in his field, but while he sleeps, an enemy sows weeds among the wheat. When the servants ask the farmer why there are weeds in his field, he tells them that an enemy has done it. The farmer then instructs his servants to let the wheat and weeds grow together until harvest time, when they should gather the weeds first and burn them, and then gather the wheat into his barn.
Later in Matthew, the parable's elements are given further meaning:
The wheat: Represents "the children of the Kingdom" (Christians)
The tares: Also known as darnel or "false wheat", these weeds represent "the children of the evil one" (Unbelievers)
The harvest: Represents "the end of the age" (The end of sin and final judgment)
So right now Christians and unbelievers are together. When Jesus comes back for final judgment the wicked will be burned and the faithful will remain.
I agree not a flood, I think that was discribing them being apathetic and how quickly came their demise, floods, we all know are deadly fast. I think the exposure of Cain and the swiftness of the flood will be what we have today....I hope that is not confusing!
“Yeeted into heaven” 😆
I coined that phrase
It's my favorite way to refer to the rapture cause it really is that ridiculous.
