About $2k / year.
Includes basically unlimited care / visits; phone; in person; whatever I need.
Obviously does not include any blood tests or similar, prescriptions, etc.
Best damn money I've spent in a long time!
ETA:
Again, I look at the big picture;
Consider when working with a huge HMO / PPO / hospital like Kaiser, sutter, etc:
The friction & dread involved in even trying to make a dr. appt; it's endless bureaucracy, red tape; they are booked out months & months in advance;
When you actually GO to your doctor, they're usually at an enormous hospital with a paid parking lot; you pay to park & have to hike in like 2 miles. The walk doesn't bother me at all; it's the TIME wasted.
There's always a copay
You always end up waiting forever for the dr; either in the waiting room and/or again in the patient room.
By the time you add up ALL those fees & most importantly, MY TIME, I come out way ahead.
Plus; going to my dr. is almost FUN because it's so EASY!
