You guys do know that the majority chunk of Evangelical Christians and a bunch of the other sects have been systematically brainwashed with bad eschatology regarding the state of Israel for about the last century right?
I only woke up to it 3 or 4 years ago myself. I used to watch TBN and cry when the poor starving Israeli grandmas commercial came on. If I had more money I would have sent them some happily! It was my duty as a believer in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob!
Yes, thanks to the re-written and mostly misquoted and interpreted "Holy Word of God". Started with Queen Mary of the Scots to get her son on the throne with the writing of the King James Version due to not liking interpretations in the Tyndale and Geneva versions. Just tweak it a bit and "owning nothing and being happy" will be the "Holy Word of God".
Here’s a hint for you. You own nothing. Anything you have belongs to God. You’ve created nothing. You’ve invented nothing. And to this world you are nothing. Jesus loves you. Without Him…nothing.
And so now the Bible is wrong. God’s word. Bold statement.
Jesus said "He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. " To say we as God's childten are nothing, know nothing, create nothing is a poor understanding of the Kingdom of Heaven within. It is also what the deceiver would like you to believe. We chose to separate from God's Love. But God is not lost, God does not need to be found. God IS. A book selectively writren for deception and control does not hinder God in any way. The kingdom of Heaven is within. We ARE God's temple. Be Love. Be not deceived.
You’re saying in one sentence(above) the Bible is technically wrong. But quote scripture from that very Bible. So which is it? Do you believe in what the Bible says as God’s word, or do you not. You’re dancing all over the place.
And my comment is reference to “without Jesus”. But your right, we are not “nothing”. As God sent His only son for us, so of course we are nothing. But as a Christian, I feel like nothing as in…I’ve done nothing to earn this kind of love. Nothing to have God’s forgiveness. But only through what God has said, that I know I am wrong. And thank you Lord for that. And those words, those promises, of love and forgiveness….the Bible. God’s word. Without His words, without Jesus’s teachings, nothing is all we’d have. Nothing worth anything. Be lost forever.
Many little antichrist folks have been trying to say the Bible is false for a long time. The Bible has been proven right time and time again. And of course it is, it’s God’s word.
Research the King James bible. It was "translated" by 47 theologians over 7 years. Theologians needed to appease both the Anglican and the Puritan English dogmatic crowds after Reformation, so that King James IV of Scotland who became King James I of England would not have a rebellion on his hands.
I am sure they consulted God every step of the Way.
Interestingly enough the Dedication was not the Defender of The Word of God but the Defender of the Faith. Dogma. Ritual. Control. It prevented an uprising.
While the king may have been dubious, as all who hold power seem to have been, I personally believe that the KJV was God's plan to get His Word into the hands of everybody who wanted it.
Prior to its publication, most English-speaking people relied on the Geneva Bible (1560) or the Bishops’ Bible (1568) for their daily devotions. However, these Bibles were not as widely available or affordable for the common man.
The KJV was a deliberate attempt to create a Bible that was more accessible to the general population. Its widespread availability and affordability enabled common men to own and read the Bible in their own language.
The KJV’s use of Early Modern English, which was closer to the vernacular language spoken by common people, made it easier for them to understand and relate to the scriptures. The poetic and figurative language used in the KJV also helped to convey complex theological concepts in a way that was engaging and memorable for lay readers.
Unlike the Geneva Bible, which was influenced by Protestant reformers and contained commentary that was critical of the English monarchy, the KJV was intended to be a neutral translation. This lack of political bias allowed common men to read the Bible without being swayed by partisan agendas or theological controversies.
And thanks be to God for foiling the treasonous, Jesuit "Gunpowder Plot" on the 5th of November!

Eh? What all was changed? I am under the belief that the KJV is the best english translation available today.
Afaik it was the Jesuit-infested seminaries coupled with Jesuit-infested "new Bible" translation teams who are truly behind the perversions...
And people like this
