What makes you think that politics as usual continues after Trump takes office? Midterms and impeach? By that time there will be no more Democrat or Republican party. Many will be imprisoned or executed for treason and crimes against humanity. Most of the rest in jail for RICO.
This isnt another 4 year election. All this ends with Trump back in office. Worldwide. Just by watching their desperate attempts to keep him out of office and destroy him and even assassinate him shows us all that this is truly existential for their evil.

The time between the election and the inauguration (Nov 5 - Jan 20) is their window to stop Trump from taking office. Be prepared for anything!
