• Autism rates in kids are 1 in 36 nationally, compared to 1 in 1500 in the not-so-distant past.
• In California, it’s even worse: Autism rates are 1 in 22.
• 74% of American adults are overweight or obese.
• Close to 50% of children are overweight or obese.
• 50% of American adults have prediabetes or type 2 diabetes, when only 1% of Americans in the 1950s had the disease.
• 30% of teens now have prediabetes.
• Infertility is increasing by 1% per year.
• Sperm counts are decreasing by 1% per year.
• 40% of 18-year-olds have a mental health diagnosis.
• Young adult cancers are up 79%.
What’s causing all this? It’s simple: “Our toxic food system and our toxic environment.”
And: we have to STOP eating Ultra-Processed Foods and STOP eating seed oils. Period. Doing those 2 things would transform our country's health in just a few years.
I am speaking as someone with a degree in Health Sciences / Exercise Sport Movement Science & Kinesiology. It needs to be in our core education, teaching children about Caloric Deficit. Weight is all about caloric deficit and everyone should learn that the health industry--hand-in-hand with the fake news media--is ALL about making you think you need products to be healthy and to control weight. I left the health industry in disgust myself after how snakey and profit-driven I realized everything really is. If everyone understood calories, it would be the greatest health achievement of all time.
I knew about calorie deficit as a kid. I once dropped to 500 calories a day and added an hour of running and biked to work. Did that for a month and lost 3 lbs.
Now I’m doing ultra low carb. Mostly fatty red meat. I don’t count calories. I still exercise but not insanely. I have a six pack.
The calorie deficit model has to be done right. 2000 calories of cake is NOT the same as 2000 calories of fatty meat.
The “low fat” craze has demonized fat instead of the actual cause of most issues which is sugar and processed carbs. Studies were fudged. Blue zones was a lie. Fat regulates our hormones.
Anyone with type 2 diabetes will almost certainly reverse it with an ultra low carb diet in about 90 days.
Great information. Watch Dr Anthony Chaffee videos, he’s on YouTube and Rumble. He’s pro carnivore diet and has some great videos about the lies from the government, food pyramid and “healthy” food as promoted by gov, food companies and etc. Breakfast cereal (Kellogg) was created to lower sex drive. I eat carnivore diet and don’t count calories etc. Eventually once I lose all the weight I’ll add some fruit and vegetables. I’m too lazy to count carbs on keto diet.
