A lot of the super rich have all their money tied up in company stock. They never sell,just borrow against it. And never pay any taxes. It's far cheeper to borrow,than it is to pay taxes.
That's one of the things I do.
I borrow from my business.
When I can eventually withdraw money tax-free from my Roth 401k, I will pay back the loans with tax-free money.
All of the "soak the rich" schemes are to persuade the normies, who have no clue how finance and taxes are done at a very high level.

That's one of the reasons why I don't like Warren Buffett.
He preaches higher taxes to the public, but uses the law to avoid taxes himself.

Here is what we experienced under Trump's tax policy:
The average American (you and I) received a 2 to 3% decrease in tax rate.
We also received a $27,700 standard without having to itemize if married, or $20,800 if single without needing to itemize. That was huge.
Businesses that were corporations received a reduction in tax rate of 8% (down from 28% to 20%). This savings increased their expansion and employment, as well as helped them keep the prices they charge us down.
Businesses that are S Corps received 20% off the top of their taxable income, also allowing business to flourish, hire, and keep the prices they charge us down.
The dems say inflation was caused by Trump's tax breaks for the top 1%. No.
Inflation was caused by huge government spending and printing of dollars. Billions/trillions were spent on wars and immigrants. Also, inflation was caused by taking away our ability to be energy independent. Transportation and production costs skyrocketed.
