Hey, recently my order of ivermectin and a couple other things from India was confiscated at the US border. They sent a form letter saying blah blah you can’t do that and if you do it again you “could be prosecuted” etc. has anyone had this happen before? The company says they will reship for free but it makes me just a bit nervous. It’s a small order so obviously not worth the time of the govt to actually prosecute but still.

I had it happen to me years ago and it was with a Schedule IV drug - one that requires ID. I was between jobs at the time and had no insurance but this drug at the time would cost $1-2,000 without insurance so I ordered it from India (WAY cheaper). I even called the guy that sent my letter - he put his phone number on it. He laughed when I told him why I needed it and that I wanted it back, and he told me to just contact the people overseas and tell them Customs confiscated it, and that they would just send me another shipment through a different country. He was right - they sent it thru Fiji and it made it ok. At the time I ordered 500 pills because I got a bunch free for using Bitcoin, and they lasted me over 7 months (prescribed 2 a day). The Customs guy said to not worry about it, that they only catch a very small fraction of these and they are looking for narcotics. Mine is not a narcotic (although it mimics certain ones).
Pills in India are dirt cheap so it pays for them to remail when something happens. They don't want people getting ripped off and stopping them from ordering again. They really overcharge based on what they pay, but they are risking trafficking charges so they deserve to be paid as well.
