GAW/MAGA family, sometimes I fear that we are so eager to defeat the evil we've been fighting for so long that we become overly credulous.
Tucker Carlson's interview with RFK Jr. has millions upon millions of views. Snippets are being posted everywhere. Those who wish to save this Republic had their hearts soar when RFK Jr. appeared on stage with President Trump last Friday.
To be clear: I wholeheartedly endorse President Trump's approach of showing the American people that he is building a coalition of not just Republicans & Independents, but of sane Democrats with whom we agree on far more than we disagree.
However, while I appreciate RFK Jr's endorsement of President Trump, I certainly do not trust the man. There are many reasons for this but to put it succinctly, look no further than 13:52 of his interview with Tucker Carlson:
"It is no secret that Jan 6th was a bad day, and it could have been handled better by everyone." What would you advise DJT should have done differently?
This isn't about being "mad" at RFK Jr., this is about reminding people to have some caution about fully embracing and trusting someone like him.
After 8 years of persecution for supporting DJT & MAGA, we LOVE it when people "see the light". The higher profile the better. It's validating to both the work we've put in and to the pain we've endured.
But it can make us too eager to embrace these people with open arms.
"Do ya'll not notice that RFK thus sets the stage for those who consider Jan 6th a make-or-break on Trump to support and vote for Trump as well?"
This is a good point, and it's one that I had considered and have not dismissed. Though if his comment here was my only concern about RFK Jr., I never would have made this post.
We need to embrace everyone that joins MAGA with open arms. If they are a traitor, the tribunals will make that evident. But until then, we have to be UNIFIED!
