Never forget my first infusion. I could feel the poison travel through my body and then, following the same path,, could feel the death of cells closest to my skin "die". Chemo changes your taste buds, your personality and your brain power---chemo brain is a real thing. And when I was finished with chemo, I moved on to daily radiation and in several ways thought that was worse. Then I took a drug, femora, for five years, which ate my bones, destroyed my teeth and ruined my digestive system.
Cancer returned 13 years later. Before we even started, I apprised my team that surgery was the only thing I would do. Post surgery diagnoses of the grade of cancer was that unlike my first go around of "very aggessive", my second was tiny, tiny and very non-aggressive. I suspect the horse paste I take 2 or 3 days every 10 to 14 days had an effect on the cancer.
