I said this in church during my Adult Sunday School class and you could have heard a pin drop. Later I said, "God says to love the sinner but HATE the sin." That smoothed things over a bit.

I'm not defending bad behavior, but by your logic "hating the sin" is the same as forcing people to lie.

As I clearly stated, I'm not defending bad behavior. I'm talking about your average gay person who wants to life a quiet life and be left alone. The idea of "closeting" that person is equivalent to forcing them to lie.

I'm gay, and pedos make me sick too. Totally on board with that. But there's no equivalence to the gay population in general.
