If she was killed in front of her parents, why didn't they beat the ever living tar out of the perp? Were mom and dad in shock? If an individual did something like that to a member of my family I'd chase him/her down and beat the crap out of him until he was within an inch of death. Then I'd toss him in a lake and see if he could swim with the fishes. Or toss him over a ledge and see if he could fly like an eagle. Naw, I'd just pop him in the head with a .45 and call it good.

Anyone who claims their 1st reaction would be to attack the assailant is lying to themselves. You'd try and render aid to your distressed child first.

Yes it would be difficult for me not to kill the perp at some point in time. Guess the perp got off cuz she is crazy. One has to be crazy to kill a child. Shouldn’t be an excuse to avoid prison or the death penalty for murder of a child.
