If she was killed in front of her parents, why didn't they beat the ever living tar out of the perp? Were mom and dad in shock? If an individual did something like that to a member of my family I'd chase him/her down and beat the crap out of him until he was within an inch of death. Then I'd toss him in a lake and see if he could swim with the fishes. Or toss him over a ledge and see if he could fly like an eagle. Naw, I'd just pop him in the head with a .45 and call it good.

To be fair to mom, that act probably unfolded so quickly that to say "the mom just watched it happen" is doubtfully accurate.
Anyone who claims their 1st reaction would be to attack the assailant is lying to themselves. You'd try and render aid to your distressed child first.
Don't get it twisted though. I don't support these animals. I do support vigilante justice. IMO the assailant never should have arrived to court with a pulse.
