Nah ... If it were 8th century science, at least there would be some logic to it.

Is it occult? no, they publish in plain sight, but boy, have they manipulated the presentation of the data to fit their narrative.

So, it is not science and even 8th century scientists would blush if they would have known the modus operandus of these ass-clowns.
